It was my third time in the hotel, and I just realized some room details might go under maintenance. The overall feeling is pretty good, especially if you book in advance with your membership, which lets you access to very low rates. The …
The room is way better than what we imagined, it has enough space to accommodate 2 person with the luggage wide opened (but better to keep it close and put under the bed to have larger space to walk). Front desk upgraded our room to 30th floor with partially sea view which really delighted us. The room is very clean too, asked for room service twice for our 5 days stay, the staff is very friendly and she did a good job in cleaning our room. Location is great, near to the fortress hill MTR station, tram station and bus station. Will definitely come back to stay here if we were to visit Hong Kong again.
Just one downside of the room is that the soundproof was not so good, we heard loud noise early morning or at the mid night, I guess it was the sound of water with high pressure.
Ideal hotel for travellers who want a no-frills stay. Excellent location, stone's throw from Fortress Hill MTR and lots of eateries nearby. Rooms are bright and clean. Housekeeping staff are very friendly and helpful. Beverages and snacks for simple breakfast or tea break are also provided.
I was visiting my folks in Siu Sai Wan for 11 days during the absence of their helper who came back 2 days earlier than scheduled. So did my last minute hotel booking. I chose this one due to location and price. The location was perfect …
It was my first time to travel to HK and I did not have an idea where to book. Then, I saw good reviews about this hotel and I decided to book. This hotel did not disappoint me. My expectations were met. The front desk staff were very accommodating, friendly and respectful. Same with all the crew that we meet. The room was very clean and neat. They provided complete toiletries. I like the smell of the bath gel. It was refreshing. They serve free coffee. They also serve free breads in the morning with butter and jellies.
The location is perfect.
I will definitely book again when in HK.
The hotel provide a clean and quite environment to stay and relax, Hotel also provide nice coffee machine twenty four hours. The hotel location is very convenient, near MTR as well as Airport Express Bus within walking distance, A lot of …
I am disappointed by this hotel. My room had two brown bugs in the bed despite being on a high floor level. It was disgusting to say the least. I demanded to switch rooms. The staff was cordial enough to give me a different room, which I commend, otherwise I would have looked for another hotel as I didn't want to stay in a room with bugs. It would be different if it were on the ground level but we are talking about like the 10th or 20th floor here. Anyway, the new room was marginally bigger but still a bit too dirty for my liking. I went to other 4-star hotels in HK and they were far cleaner. The refrigerator had brown stains inside it, the bathroom sink and shower had black mold in the corners, the bed sheets were changed infrequently and the new sheets often had stains on it despite not having been used by me yet, the flashlight in the room didn't work either, and my room reeked of cigarette smell for my entire stay (7 nights) despite me not being a smoker. The walls were quite thin as well. The "lounge" is just a collection of tables and chairs, nothing extraordinary. I didn't even bother visiting the gym here. I was able to get a discount when booking this room, but had I paid the full price, I would honestly give this 1 star. The most important thing about a room is that it is clean. I don't demand excessive cleanliness either, but come on, stains on fresh bed sheets, stains inside the unused refrigerator, really? At a 4 star hotel? It's unacceptable. If you value cleanliness and want to stay in HK Island, book another hotel. The location here is good but the rooms are just too dirty.
It took 3 tries, but I ended up with a room that was that was good. First I was checked in to room 3002. There was a very loud noise coming from the wall that sounded like an airplane taking off. Then they moved me to room 1608. This room had a dehumidifier in it and it had a really bad moldy smell. I finally moved to room 1207 which didn't have any issues. There is loud construction noise coming from outside during the day, but it's quiet at night. Staff was friendly.
